Cheques Distributed Among Unorganized Labourers of Assam

JAGIROAD: In compliance to the Social Security Act for unorganized labourers of the State, Health and Family Minister (State) and MLA of Jagiroad, Pijush Hazarika is planning to provide financial assistance to selected beneficiaries/labourers of the State.

As such, under the direction of the minister, Jagiroad Development Authority chairman Dibyajit Neog on Monday distributed cheques among the beneficiaries at Jagiroad. In this connection, the awareness and registration meeting was held on Monday at Jagiroad which was attended by State Labour Commissioner Narayan Konwar, Morigaon Deputy Commissioner Rituraj Bora, Mayong Circle Officer Sanghamitra Borua and other dignitaries.
