Clothes and Furniture Gutted in a Fire that Broke Out in Dhubri,Assam

DHUBRI, July 30: Clothes and furniture worth Rs. 20 lakh were gutted after fire broke out in the shop M/S Juharmal Manikchand owned by Pushpa Kundalia in HN Road near UCO Bank in Dhubri town recently.

Fire tenders from Dhubri Police Reserve rushed to the spot and doused the fire and brought it under control and also prevented it from spreading to other shops. However, reason for the fire could not be ascertained yet and police after registering a GR case, are investigating the incident, a police source said.
