Committee formed of Seujia Samaj Sangeet Mahavidyalaya at Sivasagar, Assam

SIVASAGAR, July 20: The annual general meeting of Seujia Samaj Sangeet Mahavidyalaya was conducted successfully at the Mahavidyalaya auditorium, and a new committee of the Seujia Samaj Sangeet Mahavidyalaya Management Committee was formed for the next term. The 11 member-committee was formed with Saurav Chaliha as president, Advocate Sanjib Bora as vice president and Arati Baruah who is the principal of the Mahavidyalaya as secretary. Total 9 members were elected, and the president will nominate and select 2 more members. The committee, in the meeting, decided to celebrate the 73rd Foundation Day of the Mahavidyalaya with grand cultural extravaganza on July 25.

It needs to be mentioned that Seujia Samaj Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, earlier known as Seujia Samaj Sangeet Vidyalaya, was established in the year 1945, and got recognition of Mahavidyalaya in 1989.
