COVID-19 awareness campaign launched in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: An awareness programme on the preventive measures against the spreading of COVID-19 was organized in Nabojjal High School of Lakhimpur district on Friday. The programme was held in the presence of the members of the school management and development committee, teachers of the school and other citizens. It commenced with the school management and development committee president Achyut Kumar Bhuyan in the chair while headmaster Sanjib Upadhyay explained the objective of the programme. In the meeting, detailed discussion on the preventive measures against the outbreak of the Coronavirus and launching of awareness campaign on the issue was held. After the programme, the units of teachers, led by Jiten Baruah, Gitanjali Baruah, Reema Gogoi, Meena Neog, Manoj Baruah launched awareness campaigns in the nearby villages of the school meeting with the senior citizens and other people. In the same programme, discussion was also held on the uniform of the students and the academic environment of the school.
