COVID-19 positive cases dip to 1.20% in Nalbari

The COVID-19 positive cases are on decreasing in Nalbari. The positivity rate decreased to 1.20% on Sunday. The total number of COVID-19 +ve cases registered till Sunday was 8,707 while 0.94% of the persons succumbed to the infection. A total of 3,483 patients have been isolated in hospital and 5,224 were in home isolation.

There are 14 containment zones in the district now. The total Active Case as on Sunday was 310. Altogether 2,63,548 tests have been done. Additional CM and HO, Nalbari and District Surveillance Officer informed that till Sunday 26.53% people above 18 years and 55.76% above 45 years have been vaccinated.
