COVID situation improves in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: In Tinsukia district, the COVID scenario has improved significantly after positivity dropped to 0.35 per cent on Tuesday with an average of 0.62 during past a week. The district also achieved the distinction of being the highest recorded vaccination process in the State.

According to DME NHM Tinsukia, the district administered 27,918 doses making 164 per cent against the target of administering 17,000 doses in two days-August 16 and August 17-as set by National Covid-19 Vaccination Strategy (Government of India). Both the doses were covered in the vaccination centres.
