Debate competition held

MERAPAN: The Narayan Chandra Dutta Memorial Prize Money Inter-college Debate Competition will be held in Furkating College on September 27, said Dr Apurba Saikia, the Principal of the college. The competition will be held among students of colleges and universities. The topic of the debate is ‘Large-scale use of information technology by the present day youth has immensely contributed towards the development of their knowledge and intellect’. The top three debaters will be rewarded with Rs 7,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively.
