Deep bahans under RKV Yojana distributed to beneficiaries in Hailakandi

Hailakandi: Deep bahans, tricycle rickshaw, for the marketing of agricultural produce under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) were distributed to beneficiaries here on Friday.

Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli distributed the bahans to several beneficiaries under RKVY 2017-18 at a ceremonial distribution function. Subdivisional Agriculture Officer, Dr. AR Ahmed disclosed that 50 deep bahans under RKVY 2017-18 has been approved. Of the 50 deep bahans, 21 have been distributed in Friday’s function. The rest will be distributed in the next two to three days on receipt of beneficiary share, added Dr. Ahmed. District Agriculture Officer, S Dev Roy and other officers and employees who were present.
