Development schemes by Numaligarh Refinery at Doigrung

Numaligarh: Numaligarh Refinery has taken up a development initiative to enhance the beauty of Doigrung area in Numaligarh. Under its CSR scheme, NRL has taken up a project for developing the Doigrung area with a budget of Rs 50 lakh.

Morangi Revenue Circle Officer Banashree Malakar, Manager Biswajit Bora of NRL, Kongkon Saikia, Himangsu Bora, Zila Parishad Member of Morangi, Purobi Sarma and Morangi gaon panchayat president Jumoni Boruah were present. Under this project, the footpath along the NH-39 at Doigrung will be developed into concrete solid and will be furnished with tiles. With additional schemes, passenger sheds and public toilets will be built. Two powerful street lights will also to be installed by NRL at Doigrung and Purabangla.
