District Magistrate declared Local holiday on Oct 28 in Sonitpur District for Diwali

Tezpur: District Magistrate Manvendra Pratap Singh has declared October 28 as local holiday in entire Sonitpur district under the NI Act, 1881 on the account of Dipawali. All government/ non-government offices, educational institutions and business/ financial establishments, including banks, will remain closed on this account. However, the local holiday will not be effective in case of any examination of schools and colleges already scheduled.

GOLAGHAT: The Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat has declared October 28 as local holiday on account of Kali Puja/Diwali under the government declaration letter no. G.A.G. (A)81/2016/Par./A/220 dated 19/12/2018. All State Government offices, Revenue and Magisterial (Executive) Court and educational institutions in the district will remain closed.
