District Industries & Commerce Centre Organizes Export Awareness Programme in Morigaon

MORIGAON: An export awareness programme was organized by District Industries & Commerce Centre, Morigaon in association with Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Kolkata at Pobotora Haat in Morigaon on Friday. The day-long export awareness programme was formally inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner Devashis Sarma. The Deputy Commissioner while inaugurating the programme said the produced commodities must be profitable through community-based export towards developing the district economically. He also said, “The export commodities, now, can be easily exported through the Dak Niryat Kendra (DNK) under Indian Postal. In the programme, The GM of DICC, Morigaon Manju Rani Gogoi Talukdar delivered the inaugural speech in the programme. The awareness camp was also attended by IIFT, Kolkata senior professor Gautom Dutta and Co-ordinator Sumana Das and the Superintendent of Indian Postal, Nagaon division Devashis Goswami. Earlier the programme was conducted by Jugmon Dekaraja.
