False educational certificate submitted by Gram Panchayat President in Nagaon

NAGAON: A newly-elected Gram Panchayat president from AIUDF party allegedly submitted fake educational certificates in his nomination form in the recently held panchayat poll in Nagaon.

In recent memorandum addressed to the Deputy Commissioner of Nagaon by a local RTI activist, Nabi Hussain of Koladuba in Dhing LAC, it was alleged that the newly-elected president of 55 no. Jengoni Koladuba gaon panchayat under Dhing LAC, Mozibur Rahman had submitted fake educational certificate procured from an unknown institution in New Delhi.

The RTI activist alleged in the memorandum that Motibur Rahman in his nomination form enclosed HSLC pass certificate bearing number DSE-no 200900231 of the Delhi Board of Education, which was completely fake.
