Former activist of Assam agitation passes away

JAGIROAD: Former activist of the Assam agitation and the Central Executive of Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) Phani Konwar (78) died on Thursday at his residence at Jagiroad. Konwar took active part in Assam agitation. His demise has been deeply mourned by former minister and AGP Morigaon district president Bubul Das, Jagiroad MLA and Health and Family welfare minister Piyush Hazarika and many others.
