Gandhi Jayanti: Sibsagar Commerce College organizes art competition

SIVASAGAR: To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, the Department of Management of Sibsagar Commerce College, in association with All Tai Ahom Students' Union ( ATASU) & NSS Unit Sibsagar Commerce College organized an art competition on the theme of 'Citizen Life vs Gandhian Philosophy and Environment Awareness'.

More than 300 participants of different schools across the Sivasagar district in three different categories in accordance to their age groups participated in the competition. The winner would be awarded prize money and certificates.

The Principal of Sibsagar Commerce College, Dr Saumarjyoti Mahanta inaugurated the event. He felt satisfied by observing the young talents so creatively trying to portrait the various issues related to Gandhiji and environment awareness. The whole event was coordinated by Dr Prodip Gogoi, Dr Ratul Dutta, Dr Jiban Bora and Rashmi Sarma.
