Gift items distributed among government-recognized mediapersons

BONGAIGAON: A meeting was held on Monday in the DC's office conference hall under the chairmanship of Dr MS Lakshmi Priya, Bongaigaon Deputy Commissioner, for formal distribution of gift items from the Chief Minister of Assam to the government-recognized media persons of Bongaigaon district as a token of appreciation and gratitude towards the selfless services rendered by them, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic in the State.

The Bongaigaon DC handed over the gift items to 14 DIPR recognized card holder media persons of the district in the presence of the ADCs Pankaj Chamuah and Dr. ST Rahman. She further extended warm New Year greetings and Bhogali Bihu wishes with a hearty call to work collaboratively for the speedy and quality all-round development of the people of the district in this new year. An exchange of thoughts and ideas went off in the meeting regarding promoting government schemes. Moreover, in the meeting, all the ongoing welfare schemes under DIPR, Assam, especially meant for the media persons of the State, were discussed.
