Health check-up camps held at flood-affected areas in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: The Tinsukia district administration in association with the Health Department organised health check-up camps at flood-affected Erashuti and Khamti Guwali on Friday. The health team examined 82 local people at Khamti Guwali besides 2 diarrhoea patients and 2 persons with skin diseases were treated. In Erashuti camp a total of 70 persons were examined of which 15 patients with different ailments like diarrhoea, URTI etc were treated. The Health Department will continue to hold such health camps in flood-affected areas in future, stated health officials.
