Illegal liquor seized

Bongaigaon, June 8: Following information, Bongaigaon police in association with excise department seized a huge amount of illegal liquor on Friday. Talking to press, OC of Bongaigaon police station Bijit Dadhora said that they had seized a total of 296 cartons of illegal liquor. “We got information about the liquor and launched an operation in Garugao area of Hapasara under Bongaigaon PS at about 10 am today. A total of 296 cartons of liquor made in Arunachal Pradesh were recovered from a house. Inal Haque, the owner of the house has already fled before our arrival. We continued our operation to nab Haque so that we can get more information about this smuggling and his gang. We hope to nab him and other related person very soon,” Dadhora said.
