Jorhat, Majuli records a pass percentage of 65.16 per cent in the HSLC Examination, 2019

JORHAT: The pass percentage of Jorhat district, including Majuli island district, in the HSLC exam, 2019 is 65.16 per cent, said Dr Subhalaxmi Rajkumari, Inspector of Schools, in-charge of both the districts on Thursday.

Dr Rajkumari said this year the pass percentage had increased from 60.92 per cent to 65.16 per cent. Jorhat ranked seventh in the State. A total of 12,893 students appeared, out of which 2, 580 secured first division, 3,008 secured second division, 2,813 secured third division, 360 got distinction and 622 secured star marks.
