Krishna Janmashtami celebrated in Demow amid COVID-19 pandemic

DEMOW: Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in Demow and its surrounding areas on Tuesday evening with religious fervour and devotion following COVID protocol. Janmashtami was also celebrated near Demow in Thowra in Shiv Mandir on Tuesday evening. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only the rituals were performed this time. The bhog was offered and earthen lamps were lit. After the puja, prasad was distributed among the people.
