Local holiday in Sivasagar today on account of Mahasivratri

GAURISAGAR: The Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar, Dr. MS Lakshmi Priya vide an order issued on Wednesday, has declared a local holiday on February 20 on account of Sri Mahasivaratri and Siva Utsav, 2020 under Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881. All-State Government offices and educational institutions, including financial institutions, co-operative banks of Sivasagar district, will remain closed on that day. However, the local holiday will not affect in case of any examination in schools and colleges already scheduled.
