Lok Adalat postponed due to surge in COVID-19 positive cases

LAKHIMPUR: The Executive Chairman of Assam State Legal Services Authority has postponed the State Lok Adalat to be held on January 22. This decision of the postponement was taken considering the sudden surge in the COVID-19 positive cases across the State and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) laid down by the State government, stated a press release issued by Lakhimpur District Information and Public relation Officer Mandira Chayengiya.
