Master trainer training on roll-out of ICDS-CAS begins in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The master trainer training on the roll-out of Integrated Child Development Services-Common Application Software (ICDS-CAS) held under the aegis of Lakhimpur District Social Welfare Department, kicked off from Wednesday. The Integrated Child Development Services-Common Application Software is intended to use technology for furthering the objectives of the ICDS schemes.

In Lakhimpur district, the training program has been organized in three training centers wherein a total of 165 trainees have taken part. The training program held in North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) was inaugurated by the principal of the college, Dr. Biman Chandra Chetia. On the other hand, District Social Welfare Officer Prashanta Kumar Borah inaugurated the training camp organized at Asha Kiran Samaj Kalyan Kendra while the same held at Ghilamora Bordoibam Panchayat Community Hall was inaugurated by Dhakuakhana SDO Arindam Baruah.

Poshan Abhiyan Block coordinators, assistant coordinators, district coordinators, assistants, supervisors, Child Development Project Officers have been taking part in the four-day-long training program. ICDS-CAS master trainers from New Delhi, Chandra Mohan, Anil Kumar, Manish Mohan, Gautam Kumar, and Durgesh Kumar are resource persons in the training program.
