Meeting held to condole demise of Former Supreme Court Judge Justice SN Phukan

Tezpur: A condolence meeting was held recently by the Assam Judicial Service Association, Tezpur unit and staff members of the District Judiciary, Tezpur jointly to condole the sudden demise of former Judge of Supreme Court Justice (Retd) SN Phukan. The meeting was presided over by District and Sessions Judge, Sonitpur, Asok Kumar Borah, who expressed deep sorrow at the death of Justice (Retd) Phukan. As a mark of respect to the departed soul, the members observed two minutes silence and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
