BAKSA: Under the guidance of the Election Commission of India, a meeting on Systematic Voter's Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) to create awareness amongst the young voters was held at Barama College auditorium. The meeting was organized by the Baksa district administration in collaboration with NSS and NCC unit of the college. The meeting was presided over by the Vice-Principal of Barama College, Koran Ch. Das. In his welcome speech, Atowr Rahman, District Officer, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Baksa, appealed to young voters to come out in large numbers and participate in the electoral process. District Information and Public Relations Officer of Baksa district, Hem Chandra Pathak asked students to be ruled by their conscience and to become proud voters.
