Mega Free Legal Aid Camp At Moholiapara Village Under Sipajhar LAC in Darrang

MANGALDAI: The State Legal Service Authority, Assam (SLSA) in association with the District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), Darrang is organizing a mega free legal aid camp at Moholiapara village under Sipajhar LAC in Darrang district on January 6. The day long mega camp aims at mass public motivation regarding different public welfare schemes and their rights for participation. It will also facilitate the spot enrollment of beneficiaries in various people friendly government schemes.

Almost all the State government departments are going to display their stalls of their own to exhibit their respective public utility schemes and at the same time to explain in details how the rural masses would be beneficial out of these. Several other little-known government agencies and institutions related to child rights and child protection including the Child Welfare Committee, District Child Protection Unit, Govt recognized Specialized Adoption Agency, Child Care Institution etc are also reportedly going to display their functions in specified stalls.

Meanwhile for supervision of the final preparation and ensure maximum public participation a meeting of all the district heads of the State government departments has already been held on Wednesday in the Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall.
