Minister Phani Bhusan Choudhury inaugurated Van to collect COVID samples

BONGAIGAON: Minister Phani Bhusan Choudhury inaugurated a COVID-19 sample collection van in Bongaigaon on Monday evening. Bongaigaon Deputy Commissioner M S Laxmipriya on Tuesday said that this vehicle would collect COVID-19 samples from door-to-door in Bongaigaon district.

"This will help prompt sample collection in district. Moreover, the health workers do not have to wear PPE kit while collecting samples in this van as they can collect the samples by simply putting out their hands from two holes in the backside glass of the van," she said. Phani Bhusan Choudhury said that this van was a splendid addition to the health department of Bongaigaon district in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
