Miscreants attack magistrate’s vehicle at Bajali area

PATHSALA: Amidst the lockdown, Bajali witnessed an ugly scene on Wednesday. A group of miscreants allegedly attacked a magistrate of Bajali, Jonali Rabha on Wednesday.

As per reports, the attack took place in the Sarupeta area of Batuwa in Barpeta district when the magistrate ordered the people to close down the market. The miscreants pelted stones at the magistrate’s vehicle bearing registration number AS 14J 1932 and the driver was seriously injured.

Meanwhile, police arrested two people for violating lockdown guidelines. The two youths have been identified as Sadam Hussein (40) and Tajuddin Ali (21).
