Motivational Event for Class 10 Students held in Dibrugarh
The top performers of the HSLC Examination 2022 were also felicitated in this event.
DIBRUGARH: The Children's Education Committee, Dibrugarh, Assam held an event to wish the students of Class 10 for the upcoming board examinations on Saturday, December 24. The event was held at the B L Beria Saraswati Shishu Mandir located in Lachit Nagar of Dibrugarh District. The program was inaugurated by Dr Devprasad Phukan, Dibrugarh District Chief of Child Education Committee, Assam and retired Professor of Chemistry Department, Kanai College, Dibrugarh by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The conference was inaugurated by him who also wished the students all the best and blessed them for the upcoming examinations.
The conference was attended by Dr Pranjal Buragohain, Professor of the Department of Education, Dibrugarh University as the chief speaker and he inspired the students with stories on how to establish themselves as good citizens in society. The event also attended the good performers of the 2022 High School Leaving Certificate Examination. Debobanai Handique of Bidyabharati Bidyalaya Naharkatia (96% marks in General Mathematics, General Science and Social Science) and Bahniman Gogoi of Chowkiding Niketan (96% marks in General Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics, 100% in Social Science) and Tridipta Rajbanshi of Chiring Chapori Niketani (Total marks 94.67%, General Mathematics, Higher Mathematics, 100%) in Social Science. Bahniman Gogoi and Devarani Handique explained to the students how they performed well in the examination and how to study.
The 19th National Mathematics and Science Fair was held in Bhopal for the academic year 2022-23 and the students of Dibrugarh Sankul and Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam were congratulated for securing 2nd place in the Science Question Forum Competition Aradhya Nazir, Priyakhi Bhuyan and Nabanita Dutta were felicitated in this regard. Also Rahul Bhuyan, a class 10 student of BL Beria Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Dibrugarh School was felicitated for winning Bronze Medal in the Artistic Yoga Competition Under 17 and Silver Medal in Team Category at the recently concluded 33rd Vidya Bharati National Sports Festival (Yogasana) in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
The event was attended by 144 students and 12 teachers from 7 Niketan of Dibrugarh Sankul and a total of 25 teachers from the host school of Dibrugarh. The conference was attended by the Principal of the school, Pramod Gogoi.
After the programme, the students performed songs, dances, yoga and singing of the wonderful creations of Srimanta Shankardev. It came to a close with the recitation of the national anthem.
