NEFRMU, distributed food among poor people in Bongaigaon

BONGAIGAON: Members of North East Frontier Railway Mazdoor Union, New Bongaigaon Workshop Branch distributed food among the poor people of Bongaigaon on Friday. Talking to press Nirmal Chakraborty, president of the branch, said that they had fed around 200 people of Bongaigaon . "We also gave them masks and soaps with the food packets. We are continuing this drive from the very beginning of lockdown," he said.

Several noted persons of the union including branch president Nirmal Chakraborty, secretary Pabitra Barman, working president Kajol Sarkar, treasurer Dilip Chetry, etc were present. It should be mentioned that the union had distributed masks and sanitizers among the journalists of Bongaigaon in Greater Bongaigaon Press Club premises.
