New BJP State president Bhabesh Kalita felicitated in Baksa district

GORESWAR: The newly-selected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president as well as MLA of Rangiya LAC, Bhabesh Kalita was felicitated here at the Bishnu Rabha Bhavan in Baksa district by Goreswar Mandal BJP committee on Wednesday. BTC EM Ranen Narzary also attended the programme, which was held maintaining COVID protocol.

Talking to mediapersons, the new BJP State president said, "It is my responsibility to strengthen our party in the State and to develop my constituency as MLA. I am very happy at the announcement that Tamulpur will be a district in BTR. Goreswar will then have a civil subdivision in Tamulpur district." Kalita also assured that the Guwahati -Baihata Chariali-Bogamati PWD Road would become two lane to Gandhi Chowk from Baihata Chariali. Goreswar Health Centre will be opened for round-the-clock service with adequate facilities. Goreswar will also have a mini stadium soon, he said.
