New body of Bilasipara Press Club formed

BILASIPARA: The general meeting of the Bilasipara Press Club was held on Sunday at its premises here with Mofizul Hussain Ahmed in the chair.
In-charge secretary of the club Amit Choudhury submitted the secretarial report. Therafter, the audited accounts were submitted and both the secretarial report and the audited accounts were approved unanimously.
Kalyan Chakraborty, Sahanawaz Hussain, advocate, Sunil Choudhury, Hansraj Sethia, Altap Hussain Ahmed, Abinash Seal Sarma, Aminul Islam, Osman Goni, Sanjoy Sarma and Dayal Paul took part in the discussion, highlighting various aspects of the club. After threadbare discussion the old committee of the club was dissolved and a new executive committee was formed with the following office bearers: Mofizul Hussain Ahmed, president; Sanjay Sarma, working president; Biswajit Sarma, vice president; Samaresh Seal Sarma, secretary; Nilkamal Nath, assistant secretary; and Enus Ali, cashier. Besides, the SDIPRO of Bilasipara was elected as ex-officio member.
The meeting also elected Amit Choudhury, Gitanjali Neogi, Hansraj Sethia and Abdul Monnaf as executive members and Sahnawaz Hussain (legal practitioner), Dayal Paul and Altap Hussain Ahmed as advisors.
The meeting was ended with vote of thanks from the chair.
