Dibrugarh, July 18: Professor Ranjit Tamuli assumed the charge of Vice-Chancellor, Dibrugarh University (DU) on Wednesday. The outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Alak K Buragohain formally welcomed Professor Tamuli and handed over the charge to the new incumbent. The formalities were carried out at the office of the Vice-Chancellor, DU, in presence of the Registrar, Professor MN Dutta. The Deans of Schools, Controller of Examination, Joint Registrars, Joint Controllers, Officers’ Association and Employees’ Association of the University also greeted the new Vice-Chancellor. Before joining as the Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Professor Ranjit Tamuli served as Controller of Examination and was the Registrar in-charge of Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh.
