NFR launches cleanliness  drive at Tinsukia

TINSUKIA, May 26: Two week long “Railyatri Upbhokta Pakhwada” has been launched by Tinsukia division of NF Railway today by undertaking cleanliness drives at three stations—Dibrugarh, New Tinsukia and DRM office complex here, stated a press release.

Along with cleanliness drives various other activities would be undertaken during the two weeks long pakhwada like intensive rake cleaning, intensive ticket checking drives, intensive checking of catering services. etc.

At Dibrugarh station while launching the drive Shri S.Hajong, Addl DRM of Tinsukia division spoke to media persons and elaborated various achievements achieved during 2014-15. Later on the media group was taken to pit line where maintence of Kamrup express and Rajdhani express were being carried out.

Media persons were briefed about how maintence staff carry out cleanliness works, under gear checks, etc in the background of preparation of a rake for service. They appreciated the works of staff.

In New Tinsukia station cleanliness drive were undertaken under the leadership of Senior DSTE & Senior DEE. The team undertook cleanliness programme in circulating area, platforms etc in association with contingent of Scouts & Guides.

In DRM office complex, the cleanliness drive was undertaken under the leadership of Senior DPO in association with representatives of unions, contingent of Scouts & Guides. They cleaned the complex where generally sanitary staffs do not clean lying in corners.
