Obituary: Hara Kumar Sharma

Hara Kumar Sharma, a teacher and retired government employee of Milanpur locality of Tangla town in Udalguri district, breathed his last at his residence on December 29, 2019. He was 92.

Born in 1927 in Soru Nodi village of Nalbari district, he was associated with a good number of social and religious organizations of the district for long. He also participated in the Indian Independence movement. He taught Sanskrit in Bongaon High School in Nalbari and also served as Accounts Auditors in Meghalaya Transport Department. He leaves behind his wife, six sons and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
