One person dies of electrocution in Jagiroad

JAGIROAD: Following heavy shower in the early hours of Tuesday, the entire town of Jagiroad was inundated. One person died due to electrocution. Sources said that Rateb Doloi (30) of Sushrasha Nursing Home came in contact with the inverter of the nursing home and got electrocuted. Due to heavy rain, the nursing home was flooded and Rateb had gone to check the inverter. The management and the other staff of the nursing home expressed deep sorrow over his demise. Heavy shower inundated a large part of the town causing damage to many residential and public buildings, including the Swapna Majika Park.
