KOKRAJHAR: On the occasion of 400th Birth Anniversary of Lachit Barphukan, in a well received innovative measure, Onnai- an inter generational interaction and outing of residents of old age homes, orphanages, Divyaang and senior citizens, was organized by Kokrajhar District Administration at Shanti Old Age Home, Kokrajhar.
BTR CEM Pramod Boro graced the event as chief guest. BTR Chief Pramod Boro lauded the district administration for organizing such an important and meaningful event in connection with the birth anniversary of Lachit Barphukan. He said, "We should keep the thoughts of Bir Lachit Barphukan alive in our minds because his love for his country, his community and his nation inspires us all."
