People’s Joint Action Committee for Bodoland Movement (PJACBM) to rally over Statehood demand

UDALGURI: The People’s Joint Action Committee for Bodoland Movement (PJACBM) will organize a mass rally at Udalguri on September 23 to reiterate their demand for a separate Bodoland state. The organization said that the struggle for Boroland could never be suppressed by divisive conspiracy. PJACBM leaders alleged that the government machinery was busy in spliting the organization through the new fraction of NDFB (P). In a meeting of PJACBM held at Udalguri on September 13, various organizational matters were discussed and it was decided to serve show cause to Garjan Mochahari, deputy chief convenor, Gangadhar Ramchiary, chief adviser, Dhaneswar Basumatary, Jogen Basumatari and Pravin Basumatari for their anti-organizational activities.
