Donkamukam: Preparations are on to tackle a possible COVID-19 outbreak in West Karbi Anglong.

On Saturday, Donkamukam Town Committee (DTC) chairman Telishram Ronghang, along with his commissioners and officer in-charge of Donkamukam Police Outpost, held a meeting on how to combat the possible outbreak of the coronavirus. It was decided that the Kuthepi Model School in Kheroni Road would be used as isolation centre for COVID-19 patients and it would also serve as a store house for medicines. The meeting also discussed about spraying of sanitizers in and around Donkamukam town. Meanwhile, strict vigil is being maintained by the administration as well as doctors at Tumpreng Forest check gate on local people who are returning from other States.
