Preparations on for Vishwakarma Puja in Demow

DEMOW: Vishwakarma Puja which will be celebrated in Demow and its surrounding areas on September 18. Decoration of the pandals is going on in Demow in full swing. The idols of Vishwakarma Puja will be brought to the pandals in Demow and its surrounding areas on September 17. On Monday, people thronged the markets to buy garlands and other puja items but due to the heavy shower in the evening, business was affected, said Kartick Chanda, a garland seller.
