In an office order No. GMJ.10/2006-11/74 dated December 3, 2019, the District Magistrate said that a letter No. KNP/FG.828/Central Empower Committee dated November 21, 2019 of the Director, Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve, Bokakhat stated that parking of heavy good vehicles on the National Highway in the area of KNP was creating hindrance to the movement of wild animals in the animal corridors and also reported that washing of vehicles and dumping of garbage in the animal corridors was polluting the River Diffolo, resulting in deterioration of the environment of the park.
