Railway Department carried out a massive eviction drive in Tezpur Railway Colony

Tezpur: The Railway Department, with the help of the district administration of Sonitpur, carried out a massive eviction drive in the Tezpur railway colony near Jahajghat on Thursday and took 52 residential quarters in its possession. The 52 quarters are residential units that have been illegally occupied for the last couple of years. As per a report, the Railway Department served notices on several occasions to the family members who had illegally captured the railway quarters at Tezpur Railway Station (old).
