DIBRUGARH: The 9th edition of Jananeta Ramesh Chandra Barooah memorial Art competition was held at Salt Brook School in Dibrugarh on Sunday. Anil Dowerah, secretary of the Smriti Rakhya committee welcomed the participants and guests. Ruma Phukan, vice president of the committee in her short speech dwelt on the life and work of the Jananeta, while his younger daughter-in-law, Rumjhum Barooah lit the ceremonial lamp. An impressive total of 400 school children participated in the competition, stated a press release.
