Round Table India- guwahati based NGO distributes relief items among flood-affected families

DHUBRI: Round Table India, an NGO based in Guwahati, distributed flood relief items in the most affected areas in and around Dhubri town on Saturday and Sunday. Distribution of 350 bags of food items and clothes was done by Tr (Dr) Ankit Todi, Tr CA Ankit Agarwala, Tr Sanjeet Jain, Tr Ravi Dhirasaria and Tr Rakesh Mittal who are from Guwahati Metro Round Table 320. Relief items were distributed at Railgunti (Machuapara), Bahadurtari, Harijan Colony (GTB Road), Ghoramara (Folimari - 2), Majherchar (Folimari - 1) and Aarhati (Folimari).

Project chairman of Guwahati Metro Round Table 320, Ankit Agarwal informed that their organization distributed relief material bags among 1,900 flood-affected families. “Round Table India is a foundation having its existence in over 119 cities in India, and besides pursuing its key objective of community services focusing on building infrastructure for education of underprivileged children, it also comes out during time of natural calamities to help the victims,”Agarwal said.

Secretary of Dhubri Lions Club, Sanjay Sethia who extended whole-hearted support in the distribution of relief materials among the flood-affected people, thanked Ankit Agarwal and his team of Guwahati Metro Round Table 320 (a unit of Round Table India) for providing help to needy people of Dhubri. Round Table Guwahati Unit also offered a certificate of appreciation to Sanjay Sethia.
