Saint killed in a road accident at Sonitpur district

JAMUGURIHAT: A road accident occurred on Jiya Bharali River on Sunday under Sonitpur district at around 3 pm. According to the information, a saint (65) who lived in the Shiva Temple situated on the western bank of the river JiyaBharali for the last three years was hit by an unknown vehicle while he was crossing the river JiyaBharali. The officer in charge of Jamugurihat Police Station Pranjal Kumar Nath reached the accident site along with his team and sent the body for postmortem.
