SBI-RSETI Chirang distributed free Face masks at Borobazar block office

KOKRAJHAR: SBI-RSETI Chirang on Thursday held a meeting at BLBC at Borobazar block office, Chirang and distributed free face masks to the bank branch managers and line department officials present in the meeting under the Borobazar Block. SBI-RSETI, Chirang is the only training institute in the district sponsored by the State Bank of India under the aegis of MoRD, Government of India, and the State Government which imparts free training for self-employment of rural youths in the district with residential facilities.

In the meeting, 225 masks were handed over to the BDO of Borobazar ,Chirang, Nirjoy Brahma for free distribution among rural poor people in the area. The face masks were stitched by RSETI trainees during the lockdown period. In another event earlier, RSETI-Chirang distributed 225 free face masks to the rural poor villagers at Santipur in presence of Kumud Chandra Narzary, BDO of Sidli Block, and other dignitaries.
