Seminar on National Education Policy, 2020 held in Udalguri

TANGLA: In a bid to deliver first-hand knowledge to the teachers and assess the parameters of the New Education Policy (NEP), 2020 which stresses on the national assets, significance of mother tongue in the elementary level of education and the redesigning of schooling structure in the 5+3+3+4 format, a district-level seminar on New Education Policy (NEP) will be held at Udalguri Girls' HS School in Udalguri town on October 19.

The seminar has been jointly organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Udalguri District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) ,Udalguri, MRSD NGO, Udalguri, 3 Life Foundation, New Delhi and Mamta-Himc, New Delhi.

Principal of Udalguri HS School, Pushpadhar Bastola, senior subject teacher of Education of Harisinga HS School, and other dignitaries are expected to take part in the seminar. Hanna Suni Mochahari and retired headmaster of Kajiamati high School, Ganesh Mochahary and secretary of DLSA, Udalguri, Kingkini Borah are expected to deliver speech on the subject matter while Rewati Raman Sapkota, senior scribe of Udalguri district and head of Udalguri based NGO MRSD, Milan Das, will present a Power Point Presentation (PPP) on the salient features of the NEP. Udalguri Deputy Commissioner Prakash Ranjan Gharphaliya will grace the occasion as chief guest while Inspector of Schools, Udalguri district circle, Bhaben Deuri will attend the seminar as distinguished guest.
