Senior citizen of Doomdooma Aikon Medhi passes away
Aikon Medhi (79), wife of late Girish Medhi, died of old age ailments at her residence on Saturday afternoon.

DOOMDOOMA: Aikon Medhi (79), wife of late Girish Medhi, died of old age ailments at her residence on Saturday afternoon. She was a pious lady and was one of the oldest members of Doomdooma Pujaghar Mahila Samaj. She is survived by two sons, two daughters and host of relatives. Her last rites were performed at Doomdooma Smashan ghat on Saturday evening in presence of good number of her admirers. Her death was condoled by Doomdooma Asamiya Puja Aru Natya Mandir Samity, Doomdooma Namghar, Doomdooma Sakha Xahitya Xabha, Ramdhenu Mahila Chora, Doomdooma and others.
