Sodou Asom Kabi Sanmilan conducted awareness programme on COVID-19 in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The North Lakhimpur unit of Sodou Asom Kabi Sanmilan on Sunday conducted an awareness programme on the COVID-19 pandemic contagion among the daily wage earners who throng the Old Civil Hospital Chariali every day in the morning in search of work.

The programme was held under the management of North Lakhimpur unit Sodou Asom Kabi Sanmilan secretary Pankaj Sabhapandit in the presence poets like Monprabha Hazarika, Jiten Baruah, Sanjib Upadhyay and writer Nripen Phukan. President of the organization, Dr. Jagadish Goswami highlighted the precautionary measures to be adopted in order to contain the pandemic contagion. Then the organization distributed face masks, hand gloves and sanitizers among the wage earners.
