Sofura talent discovery exam held in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: One of the popular children's magazines of the State 'Sofura' has been conducting a Talent Discovery Examination for the past couple of years. This year, the Sofura Talent Discovery Exam was held on Monday at different centres throughout the State. In Golaghat Sadar the examination was held at Golaghat Jatiya Vidyalaya centre where more than 200 candidates from different educational institutions appeared in the exam. The examination was held in four categories from Classes II to IX in both Assamese and English medium. With a view to prepare students for appearing in different competitive examinations, Sofura has been conducting this exam where students can get the experience of answering Multiple Choice questions on OMR answer sheets. In Golaghat Jatiya Vidyalaya centre the exam was held smoothly with the active participation of the students and teachers. Centre coordinator Porosh Boruah and in-charge teacher Siddhartha Handique thanked all for their support and assistance in conducting the examination smoothly.
