Special vaccination drive at Amar Ghar, an old-age home

GOLAGHAT: A special vaccination drive was carried out at Amar Ghar, an old-age home run by Golaghat Nirman Mohila Goot, a non-government organization, on Friday.

In this special session, vaccine jabs were administered to the inmates of the old-age home and inmates of Ujjwala Home, a home for mentally challenged people. A total of 30 vaccine jabs were administered to the beneficiaries in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The district administration and health department is extending all possible support and help in this hour of crisis by organizing special vaccination drives so that no person is left behind. Dr. Arun Chandra Mahanta, Joint Director of Health Services, Golaghat, Dr. Sunita Ekka, senior physician, Anushka Borah, District Project Manager, NHM, Golaghat, and other dignitaries were present during the special vaccination drive.
